+1 Battleship

Yamato Get! In celebration of this day, let's have a video that combines battleships, space, and clips from Star Trek movies. I'm Vehrec, and this is Kantai Collection's interpretation of what the legendary Yamato herself would act like. Her canon is one of the more unusual ones around, but aside from her odd dress and habit of insisting that she's a ship, she's just an all-around sweetheart. Almost a Yamato nadeshiko, but she has her limits.

Yamato is going to be extremely testy for her for a few days until she confirms that she can actually get to her guns in an emergency, but otherwise she is probably just gonna do her best to act like a perfect cinnamon roll. The replicators will deny her any ability to actually make any cooking though, which for a girl whose nickname is 'hotel' is a bit more trying than it will be for most. (Do not call her a Hotel unless you want to make her cry, and do not invoke Space Battleship Yamato under pain of pain.)

Hiya! I'm Jen and I play Yamato's new roommate, Louise, ROFL. (OH dear.) Louise is a little prickly around the edges herself, but once she gets to know you and the ship, and realizes what's going on in this world (she's never been outside Earth before), she'll be just fine. It will help that Yamato is a big sweetie, lol! :) ;) Welcome aboard!

All Yamato knows about British people she learned from IJN Kongou, so uhhh....expect lots of tea in the name of hospitality? Breakfast tea, Elevenses, afternoon tea... Kongou is not exactly coherent or knowledgeable. And Yamato's never left earth before either-so thus far, the entire room is in this situation together.

Surely the Doctor knows that humans like to project their emotions and feelings onto objects. That even a machine of war can be an object of love and devotion to her crew. And when three thousand of said crew go to the tomb with said ship...
