statusreportWell, apps have been open for three days and we've gotten all of none. I think maybe this game just isn't meant to be. Despite the interest the game seemed to get at first, we just haven't seen the follow-through, and the game is just too small to actually accomplish anything as it is. You guys saw how slow and awkward the first event was, with less than a dozen characters; we just can't really do much without more people, and it seems like we're not going to get them.
Suggestions were made to leave apps open all the time, but that isn't really feasible. All three mods have full time lives, so finding time that all three of us are available and not exhausted to read and process apps just doesn't happen often enough for that to be a conducive setup at all. Considering we only got three reserves, even, we're not sure what having apps open all the time would even accomplish if there's that little interest. Additional advertising hasn't seemed to do much, either; we've advertised on several DW communities, as well as made multiple Plurks, but none of us use IJ, so we would have no idea where to even advertise, and Tumblr isn't a good venue because it's an entirely different RP procedure. DW community ads have gone untouched and most of the Plurks didn't even get replurked, so we're just not sure what more we could have done.
So rather than watch the game just grind to an absolute halt, we think it's probably better to just pull the plug. We apologize to those of you who were active and interested, and we appreciate the effort that was made, but I guess we're just too niche to get sufficient interest to stay afloat. Thank you for playing with us, and we're sorry things just didn't pan out.
